Hello! Thank you for your continued interest in the Columbia Gorge School of Theatre. We are committed to helping students of all financial backgrounds attend our summer theatre camp.

Please print the below scholarship application. Please fill it out fully and truthfully. Please only apply for the scholarships if you cannot afford to attend CGST without them. You will be considered for financial assistance from all of our sources, though nearly all of our scholarships are paid for within the company. We have a limited number of partial scholarships available to students in extreme financial need. We also highly recommend that you do your own fund raising.

In order to be considered for a scholarship, we recommend you prepare an audio cassette, a video cassette, or an essay. The audio cassette or video cassette (VHS or DVD) should contain a monologue and a song (a Capella is fine). You may also write a two-page essay on what you love about the performing arts. The final choice to is arrange a local audition in either Hood River or Portland, Oregon.

There is a place on the Scholarship Application where you can write what you can afford to invest in the program. Not all offers will be accepted, but we feel that this method best aides everyone based on their needs. Please fill out this scholarship application and return it with your enrollment sheet, along with a check for your offered amount. If your offer is not accepted, your check will be returned. If your offer is less than what we accept, then you'll have the choice to have the check returned, or to send another check to meet our offer. You must also attach a copy of your families' most recent W-2 forms.
