Included: 45 hours a week of Rehearsal & Instruction, Meals, Housing, Supervision, Production of the Show, T-Shirt, Water Bottle, and Show DVD.
CGST is offering a one week Musical Theatre Workshop (MTW). You'll spend two hours a day in dance class and two hours a day in music/singing class. MTW's workshop will rehearse a short musical showcase. You'll also get to enjoy the outdoor activities, in addition to some traditional theatre classes.

  • Performance: Digitally filmed short film shot and edited on location at the ranch.

You'll spend two to three of your class hours each day acting on camera, plus your evening rehearsals will be for a digital short film to be shot on location throughout the campus. You'll also get to enjoy the outdoor activities, in addition to some traditional theatre classes.

    Enrollment: Maximum of 34 students, average of 16 students per classroom.
    Included: 45 hours a week of Rehearsal & Instruction, Meals, Housing, Supervision, Field Trip to Hood River, Production of Shows, T-Shirt, Water Bottle, and Show DVD.
      
    The two-week program is designed for students who love theatre, including musical theatre. It's a rigorous, exciting program dedicated to actor training, outdoor fun, and production of a show. Besides being a great opportunity to learn about theatre and explore the outdoors, CGST provides a supportive environment where everyone is encouraged to grow and build close friendships.

    The mornings and afternoons are filled with theatre classes. After dinner, we will hold rehearsals for the shows.

  • Performance: One act plays and musicals performed at the White Hawk Theatre with FOUR WEEK SESSION students. Additional SIX-WEEKER-Only production during the first 2 weeks. All Advanced Trackers will get to be in two shows!

    The Advanced Track is designed for students who are really devoted to theatre. It's a rigorous, exciting program dedicated to actor training, outdoor fun, and production of shows. Besides being a great opportunity to learn about theatre and explore the outdoors, CGST provides a supportive environment where everyone is encouraged to grow and build close friendships. The Six Week Session is a unique opportunity for advanced professional actor training, leadership, theatrical productions, and special connections with CGST students and staff.
     
    The Advanced Track program runs concurrently with ALL of the other sessions. During the first two weeks, the 6 week students will be producing their own One Act. During the final four weeks, the Six Week students rehearse full-scale productions with the Four Week Students. The Six Weeker Program allows for a deeper exploration of the theatre work, especially in the Meisner Acting classes.

    NOTE: Four week and Advanced Track sessions will now have their shows performed 3 times, held at Hood River Valley High School in Hood River, OR.  August 8 & 9 at 7pm, August 10 at 11am.
