For nineteen years, the Columbia Gorge School of Theatre (CGST) has prided itself on providing a safe, supportive environment free of criticism and full of fun, support, and love, as well as a rigorous theatre training program helping students gain a sense of community, improve communication skills, and raise self-esteem. Every summer, we run a full-time sleep away and daytime performing arts camp for youth of all ages from around the world who can't get enough theatre. We use our multi-talented and extensively trained staff as well as the beautiful facilities provided to us by Lewis and Clark College in Portland, Oregon to create the structure of a professional training ground with curriculum meant to challenge our kids to become better artists and people, preparing them for the bright lights of the stage of the world.
If you or your child wants or needs the means to make dreams come true, check out our dates and prices, as well as our scholarship opportunities, and come join CGST in growing the next and greatest generation of performers!

A specialized session for students wanting to learn the workings of backstage theatre and how a show comes together behind the scenes! Stay tuned for more about this track and other special 20th Anniversary celebrations in store!
Enrollment has officially begun, so kick this fall off right and enroll to join CGST's 20th Summer today!
Introducing our new Technical Track Session!
Interested in the more behind-the-scenes features of theatre? Focus on the technical, design, and management aspects of theatrical production!
These students will gain skills in stage management, sets, props, costumes, lighting and/or sound for CGST's summer season. They will work alongside the Technical Director, designers, and camp counselors to produce unique work that is vital to every production and becomes part of each show's final product.
Each student will have the chance to specify their area of interest and help craft their own course of study for this brand new session. Students will also be allowed to take regular theatre classes, such as acting, music and dance, in addition to their technical classes.

You can vote as many times as you like and voting runs through until June 1st, 2016!
So go pick your favorite color and become a part of our 20th Anniversary!
